چکیده
Abstract In order to set up a reliable prediction system for the tumor grade and prognosis in glioma patients, we clarify complicated crosstalk of Annexin A2 (ANXA2) with Glypican 1 (GPC1) demonstrate whether combined indexes ANXA2 GPC1 could improve prognostic evaluation patients. We found that ANXA2-induced cell proliferation c-Myc-dependent manner. increased expression via c-Myc upregulated further promoted level, forming positive feedback loop, which eventually led enhanced cells. Both mRNA protein levels were tissues coincided overexpression GPC1. Besides, utilized tissue microarrays (TMAs) immunohistochemistry patients both high tended have higher rate recurrence shorter overall survival (OS). conclusion, promotes cells by GPC1/c-Myc together its downstream target be potential “combination biomarker” predicting

Annexin A2 promotes glioma cell invasion and tumor progression.
Gliomas are highly invasive, lethal brain tumors. Tumor-associated proteases play an important role in glioma progression. Annexin A2 is overexpressed in many cancers and correlates with increased plasmin activity on the tumor cell surface, which mediates degradation of extracellular matrix and promotes neoangiogenesis to facilitate tumor growth. In this study, we used two glioma cell lines, mo...
متن کاملOverexpression of FZD7 promotes glioma cell proliferation by upregulating TAZ
Gliomas are the most prevalent type of primary brain tumors in adults, accounting for more than 40% of neoplasm in the central nervous system. Frizzled-7 (FZD7) is a seven-pass trans-membrane Wnt receptor that plays a critical role in the development of various tumors. In this study, we detected high-level FZD7 expression in glioma and its overexpression was associated with advanced tumor stage...
متن کاملFoxM1 promotes breast tumorigenesis by activating PDGF-A and forming a positive feedback loop with the PDGF/AKT signaling pathway
The autocrine platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)/PDGF receptor (PDGFR) signaling pathway promotes breast cancer tumorigenesis, but the mechanisms for its dysregulation in breast cancer are largely unknown. In the study, we identified PDGF-A as a novel transcriptional target of FoxM1. FoxM1 directly binds to two sites in the promoter of PDGF-A and activates its transcription. Mutation of thes...
متن کاملInhibition of human cytosolic phospholipase A2 by human annexin V.
The ability of annexins, particularly annexin 1 (lipocortin 1), to inhibit phospholipase A2 (PLA2) is well known and a substrate depletion mechanism is now widely accepted as the explanation for most inhibitory studies. However, there are only a very limited number of reported studies involving annexins and the high-molecular-mass cytosolic PLA2 (cPLA2). In this study we have examined the effec...
متن کاملOverexpression of TREM2 enhances glioma cell proliferation and invasion: a therapeutic target in human glioma
Gliomas are the most common and aggressive type of primary adult brain tumors. Although TREM2 mutation is reported to be related to Nasu-Hakola disease and Alzheimer's disease, little is known about the association between TREM2 and gliomas. Here, we reported that TREM2 was significantly overexpressed in glioma tissues compared with non-tumorous brain tissues. Furthermore, TREM2 expression was ...
